Hi, I'm Libra and I’m an associate marriage and family therapist (# ), offering creative psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, couples, and groups, online and in-person. My approach is guided by compassion, intuition, and genuine curiosity, creating a space of safety and attunement where you feel truly seen.

I believe therapy is a dynamic and collaborative journey – a non-linear process where we navigate life's complexities together. Areas of speciality include:

  • healing emotional wounds

  • processing loss and grief

  • building self-esteem and self-love

  • improving relationships

  • working with dreams and symbols, and beyond

I also offer creative coaching for women embracing the transformative shifts of mid-life, providing action-oriented tools to assist with areas like increasing creativity, thriving with purpose & joy, and soulful self-care.

My Master's in Counseling Psychology from CIIS, specializing in expressive arts therapy, equipped me with a strong clinical foundation and a versatile array of arts-informed approaches. Beyond any specific modality, my commitment is to foster a trustworthy and authentic alliance, empowering you on your unique path to well-being.

During my practicum training at Elder Ashram, I had the privilege of working with elders living with dementia. This experience deeply shaped my ability to meet clients exactly where they are, fostering authentic connection and presence. Each week, I co-facilitated an arts group bearing witness to these wisdom keepers engage in profound self-reflection and discovery through expressive modalities.

A little about me:

I am a dreamer, an artist, a sensitive, joyful soul. Creative expression is my driving force.

I was an interior designer for nearly two decades, eventually running my own business. A growing desire to help others on a deeper, more heartfelt level, combined with the Covid shutdown gave me the space and the courage to change course at mid-life and go back to school. Keep reading about me.

Although I had done a couple years of college way back when, I had never finished. Becoming a therapist meant first I had to complete my undergrad, which I did in May 2022--a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).

And then I kept right on going. In May 2025, I graduated from CIIS with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in Expressive Arts Therapy

I grew up between Maui and Los Angeles, toggling between parents, and coping amidst adverse childhood trauma. The creative arts have helped me to heal, grow, and transform at a core level and I believe in their power. It's why I am here.
